Summer is here, which means plenty of picnics, dinners and house-parties that you’d feel most comfortable with bringing an appetizer. Hummus is super easy to make AND better for you than store brands.
Here is my recipe, of course you can add/subtract certain spices to customize it to your liking.
- (2) 15oz cans of chick peas
- 1/4 cup Tahini Paste
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 1/2 lemon (for juice)
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced (more if you love garlic)
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Kosher Salt
Simply blend in a food processor or blender. If your blender is having trouble mixing everything (I used the “puree” setting), add 1/4 cup of water as needed. Enjoy!
