DIY: Backwards Headband

For those of you who really know me, know my love for Lauren Conrad. I recently rejoined Snapchat (pattyminichiell, get at me) a few days ago specifically because of Miss @laurenkconrad and I’m not afraid to admit that!

While I was stalking Lauren’s snaps I came across her stylist’s post (Kristen Ess) and quickly fell in love with a hot new hair trend, backwards headbands! Not only do I love coming across new trends that are easily lovable and easy to pull off, but I love when I can make my own!

Lauren’s backwards headband:

Mine:

Here is how to make one of your own!

You will need:

  •  2 small hair combs
  • jewelry pliers
  • chain of your liking
  • jewelry linking hoops

I chose what would’ve been a necklace and detached the chain from the adjustable closure.

Taking one of the linking hoops, attach the chain to the comb.

Place it in your hair and wrap it around to the other side to get a measure of how long your chain needs to be.

Attach the other side to a comb with another linking hoop and you have your very own unique backwards headband!

OneLove.
